Wow, Max turned three months old yesterday! It is sad to think that he will never be this little again, but I know that with each passing month things get a little more fun. I love to see him smile, coo, kick, and act so happy right now. I also enjoy watching him as he grows more responsive to the world around him. He loves for you to talk and sing to him and has even been enjoying reading some books. He weighs about 13 and a half pounds right now and still has his sweet, chubby cheeks!

I am FC Dallas!
A few weeks ago when it was 7o degrees outside (in the middle of January!) Mason and I went in the backyard to play. He started kicking the soccer ball, but decided he couldn't finish playing until he put his soccer uniform on. All he is missing is a pair of cleats. Who needs cleats, though, when you have a cool pair of Spiderman shoes? He was running around the yard kicking the ball yelling, "I am FC Dallas!"

WARNING!
After playing pirates with your child on Sunday morning, remember to remove your gold, hoop earring prior to entering the church building. If you do not heed this advice the consequences will be numerous inquisitive looks and your child's Bible class teacher looking at you like you are crazy.

What do you see?
When I look at this picture I see my two little boys looking cute in their Spiderman shirts.
When I showed the same picture to Jonathan he immediately said, "Mason's hair looks like Kid from Kid 'n Play." Great. I knew he needed a haircut, but I didn't think it looked that bad. I hope this isn't one of those pictures that Mason will look at when he gets older and say, "Mom, why did you have my hair like that?" (Believe me, I have plenty of those. Thanks, Mom!) Sorry in advance, Mason.

2 Months
Max is two months old today, and to commemorate this special day he slept eight hours straight last night! This is much better than six months which was when Mason first slept through the night (this was after we let him cry for a few hours). Max loves being held and talked to, and when you are holding him he wants your undivided attention. When he smiles I just want to squeeze and kiss his chubby little cheeks. He is also doing great with tummy time and raising his head to look around. The first two months have been great, and we look foward to many more!
