Caught

Me: Mason did you stamp your face?
Mason: No.

Hmmm...I wonder if he was telling the truth?

Handy Manny Tea Party

My friend Rae had a tea party for her daughter and her daughter's friends today. Since it was all girls Jarett came over to our house, and he and Mason had a Handy Manny tea party. Rae sent along some heart sandwiches and cookies for the boys to enjoy, which they loved. I happened to have a tea set that my Aunt Holly got Mason in Poland that they drank tea (lemonade) out of. They had so much fun eating and playing together. Enjoying the tea party

Two man band

Reading in the tent with Jonathan. Mason has a blown up glove in his hands that Jonathan brought home from the hospital. The boys thought they were fun.

Digging in the backyard

Some pictures from this week....

Mason at his school Valentine's party. If you can't tell the icing is his favorite part!

Mason with his new puppy that he got at his Valentine's party. He named him Nuh-uh (very random).

Mason was putting his sunglasses on his head the other day, and I asked him who does that. He said, "Gabe!" He walked around like that for a long time. He loves his Uncle Gabe!

Bubble Trouble

While I was cleaning the house today, I noticed that it got too quiet. That's never a good sign so I went to see what Mason was up to. I found him in his room feeding gumballs to Elmo. I then looked at his mouth and saw purple saliva dripping from his lips. He looked at me and said, "My gumball machine broke." Apparently while Mason was playing with his gumball machine the top of it came off. He took full advantage of this opportunity to feast on as many gumballs as his little heart desired. I told him he needed to go spit the gum out and he did. I thought all of the gum was picked up, but each time I went back to check on him he was chomping on a new piece. In the back of my mind I was thinking, "Oh well, I guess he'll just be pooping gum for the next few days." A little later I was in my bedroom, and Mason said, "I spit my gum out." I went in my bathroom to see what he was talking about and found what is displayed in the picture below. I couldn't help but laugh. I just wish there would have been a liner in the trashcan! By the way, the gumball machine was Jonathan's idea, not mine :)

Mason's "Buitar" Shirt

Mimi got Mason this guitar ("buitar" according to Mason) shirt for Valentine's Day. He's pretty fond of it and has been wearing it quite frequently.

I'm not sure what this face means, but I don't think he was wanting his picture taken :)

Quality Cousin Time

Mason loves his cousin Amelia and has been missing her quite a bit. He has even been singing an "I Love Amelia" song (made up of course). Catherine had her church play group at her house today, so she invited us to come over. Mason and Amelia were excited to see each other, and they had a really good time. We stayed awhile after everyone left, so they got a little one on one time together. Mimi was also there which made it even more fun!

Mimi stealing a kiss from Mason. That's pretty much what you have to do if you want one these days!

I can't believe I forgot to post this...

This picture was taken over Christmas break, and I totally forgot about it until I was looking through pictures on my computer. Mason got this tatoo out of a machine at my dad's pizza place. It was so big that the only place we could put it was on his stomach. It wasn't my favorite, but Mason thought it was pretty cool. The two positive things about it were that it wasn't real and it could be hidden by his clothes!
