Happy Father's Day!

For Father's Day Mason picked out a "Nature Hat," butterfly net, and a "Net Ball" game for Jonathan. Jonathan has been wearing the hat around the house so I think Mason picked out a winner. Thanks for being such a wonderful, fun dad to our two sweet boys, Jonathan!

7 Months

Max turned seven months this week. He is such a sweet boy, and we are enjoying him so much! He loves to talk, laugh, and scream, and he will grab and chew on anything in his sight. Holding him at a restaurant is a little bit more complicated than it used to be. No teeth yet, but they've got to be coming soon. He is really aware of what is going on around him, and he loves to watch other kids, his brother being his favorite. The big milestone this month was rolling over from back to front. I was beginning to think he might crawl before he rolled over :). He is definitely not in a hurry to go anywhere, but is content to sit and cuddle. He is the sweetest to cuddle with so that is fine by me!

Two BIG (little) reasons why we are sad to leave Dallas...

The best we could do :) We didn't want them falling back into the pool!

Aunt Julie and Uncle Gabe Visit

On Memorial Day weekend Julie and Gabe got back from vacationing in Hawaii, and they stayed with us for a few days. We had a great time as usual, and we got to celebrate Julie's birthday while she was here. Mason chose a princess theme for her party, and we also got to go to Chuck E. Cheese. When they left I told them that they were going to have to have an "Aunt Julie" detox. I think every other word out of Mason's mouth was, "Aunt Julie." He says it so sweet, though, and I don't think Julie minds hearing it (most of the time:))

Josh wasn't here, but I just thought this picture of him and Max was really cute.

I've Got Peas Like a River....

Max thoroughly the peas he had for dinner the other tonight, and Mason had a rather good time feeding them to him. Mason was running around the house singing "I've got peas like a river." I thought it was pretty funny!

We Love, We Love Sunshine School!

Mason's Sunshine School Program was last week, and it was really fun. The theme was sports, and the teachers and directors did such a great job planning everything. Mason's class was dressed up as basketball players, and they looked so cute in their cut off t-shirts and sweat bands! Mason was really excited about the wrist and head bands. I was also excited because he actually sang. After the program we went to his room where we got his end of the year book (so cute), and then we went to the fellowship hall for ice cream. I'm pretty sad that this is Mason's last year to go to school here. We have really loved being a part of Sunshine School and all of the wonderful people that we've become friends with!

Baby Blessing

Max's Baby Blessing at church was this Sunday, and it was a really special day. All of the babies were given a baby Bible book, a special letter to open on their twelfth birthday, a burp cloth with 1 Samuel 1:27 on it, and a little picture frame with their picture in it. We also received a bouquet of flowers with a special meaning. I cannot remember the exact wording used, but I will do my best. The tall white flower represents the father who is to be the head of the family, the red flower represents the mother who is has given life blood to the child, the yellow flower represents the baby who is as precious as gold, the baby's breath represents the church who supports and protects the family, and the red ribbon represents Christ who holds everything together. Max also went to Bible class for the first time at our church, and he seemed to like it. Here are a few pictures from the day.

As you can tell Mason was being very cooperative for the picture.
