We left Texas on Christmas morning and went to Oklahoma to celebrate with my family. The boys had a lot of fun opening presents and being the center of attention. While opening presents Mason kept saying, "Where is another one for me?" and unfortunately they just kept coming. Between Jonathan's family and mine, he doesn't need anymore toys for quite awhile. The three things Mason asked Santa for were "rubber bumper cars," bath crayons, and bath paint. He also asked for a toy shaving kit for him and Max. Santa brought those things plus a few more. Max walked around (he started walking while we were in TX) looking at everything with a big smile on his face. The toy he seemed to be drawn to the most, though, was the wagon.
Jonathan had to leave the Monday after Christmas, but the boys and I got to stay for the rest of the week. It was really nice to spend some good time with my family. My brother Josh drove us back to Florida which ended up being quite the trip since Max got sick the night before we left. To top that off, Mason got sick the day after we got home. In the four days that Josh stayed with us, we only left the house once. I told Josh he will probably never want to have kids or come visit us again! Thanks for all of your help, Josh, and thanks to the rest of my family for letting us stay with you and have fun.

Newberry Christmas
Our Christmas vacation started with a trip to Dallas to visit Jonathan's family. It was really nice to be back in the city, but most of all it was wonderful to be back with our family. We had fun hanging out and spending good time together. The kids especially had fun, and Mason even got to spend the night with Amelia one night. Thanks, Catherine and Brad! Also, thank you so much, Jackie and Carroll for letting us invade you house for a week and for taking care of us while we were there. We had such a great time, and I can't wait until we can come see you all again!

December Happenings
We made christmas ornaments and painted them. Mason wanted to watch the ornaments bake, but he only lasted about minutes. When we were finished my entire kitchen and Max were covered in silver glitter.
Our church had a super fun Christmas party complete with the best live music in town:)
Mason and I made a gingerbread house. Mason had fun decorating until he tasted the candy and then the decorating was over.

Brothers
One of my favorite things to see is Mason and Max loving on each other. Mason is constantly hugging and kissing on Max and now Max loves to go and cuddle by Mason. One of my favorite things to hear is Mason praying. The one constant in Mason's prayers is "Thank you, God, for my baby brother." He will even tell Jonathan and me that he loves us, but he is most thankful for Max.

1st Birthday Party
While our families were here for Thanksgiving we had Max's first birthday party. We had a good time and were so thankful that both of our families could be here.
